Christian counseling highlights psychological principles within biblical truths. Ken’s process for Christian Counseling offers support for mental, emotional, and spiritual healing while helping you develop a closer relationship with God.

Christian Coaching uses developmental principles to reveal ways of behaving and communicating, so that you can begin living a Desirable Life. The process of Christian Coaching gives you advice taken from Ken’s years of experience. Ken is very open about the patterns that he notices and will give you practical suggestions for addressing difficulties in your life while helping you see a clear picture of God.

Ken received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation counseling from Wright State University in Dayton, OH where he double majored in Addictions and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He received his undergrad in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Ken has eight years of clinical experience working in the mental health field. Ken is also a Certified Christian Life Coach.

Virtual Christian Coaching and Counseling sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing platforms, usually Zoom. You can join from the comfort of your home using your computer, tablet, or mobile device. If circumstances require a phone call, this is also another option. 

No. Ken sees clients from all walks of life. While he uses Christian principles to conceptualize a case, he welcomes individuals from diverse faith backgrounds or none at all. The goal is to support you in your healing journey. 

Ken offers support for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, grief, addiction, and spiritual struggles. The Christian Counseling session is a place where you can talk through your troubled thoughts and emotions. Ken is able to help you grow your resolve, so that you can engage life with much more poise and dignity.

Ken will help you become more competent in areas related to feeling stuck, no purpose, low value, doubt, worry, and the list of natural human tendencies can go on. Ken helps you to refuse trying to hit a moving target of other peoples expectations and focus more on develop a character composed of feelings and actions. Feeling are reflexive and actions are intentional. As you progress through Ken’s Christian Coaching sessions, you will begin choosing who you want to be in every facet of your life, no matter if you are a collage student or a CEO of a company. You will become that person.

Each session involves open conversations that focus primarily on the concerns that are troubling you most. While Ken seeks to nurture a good working therapeutic relationship with you, he will be straightforward with you about what he identifies. The goal is to help you begin functioning well in your relationship with yourself, your relationship with God, and your relationships with others. 

Each session will focus primarily on the areas that you would like to develop more fully in your life. Everyone has strengths and weakness, but many play to their strengths to overcompensate for their weaknesses. I will help you identify the weaker parts of yourself and provide advice and guidelines for strengthening those weaker parts.  

Yes, all sessions are confidential and conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure your privacy. There are a couple exceptions to confidentiality that you can review in the Client Agreement

$150 for a 45-minute session for individuals and $200 for a 45-minute session with couples/groups.  As time allows, 15-minute increments can be applied with for an additional fee of $50. I do not not accept insurance. An invoice is generated after the first session and sent to your email. Payments are accepted via credit card. Subsequent sessions will be charged to that card. 

Ken works with all stages of adulthood, but does not typically see individuals under the age of 16 years old. Ken has shown great success with adapting to a diverse number of groups.

You can schedule an appointment online by going to the program page and scheduling a session on Ken’s calendar or by contacting Ken directly via text, email, or phone.

Yes, sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations incur a $50 fee.

Ken prays at the beginning of sessions to ask the Holy Spirt to guide the conversation and at the end of session, asking God to be with you as you begin making some changes in the way you think.
