Personal Growth
How much more time do you spend planning activities than you do getting to know yourself?
Pause and let that sink in…
You wake up one day and realize that you’ve been living the wrong version of your life. Not on purpose. You just sort of slipped into it over time. You started trying to keep up with what you thought was expected of you and somewhere along the way you got lost. Personal growth isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about peeling back the layers and finally showing up as the person God created you to be before the world told you who you should become.
Self-awareness begins the moment you sit back and observe the patterns in your life without judgment, just a real inventory of who you are. How easily you alter your preferences to cater to whoever is around you. How naturally you say “yes” when you mean “no.” How quickly you let go of what matters most when someone else’s needs seem to get louder.
Identity is not what you do or who you please. Identity is a constellation of values and desires that God has put into your heart. They will lead you like a compass when no one is around to direct you. Your momentum toward your desires is a direct result of creating your outward life with the internal knowing of who God created you to become. So many people live aimlessly, reacting to the external conditions of their reality. You are able to develop an internal rhythm that will begin shaping your experiences.
Purpose is not a hidden treasure waiting to be unearthed, it’s something you design into the present through the choices you make for how you respond to the conditions that you encounter, one decision at a time. When you understand your values and learn to identify your patterns, purpose stops being this ethereal thing you’re chasing after in the distance. It becomes the natural byproduct of living with composed intention.
You were created for freedom. To choose. To create. To love. Not to hide or shrink from your reality. You’re already changing. The question is whether you’re going to choose to mold it or let life around you mold you.
If you’re ready to stop “trying to make it through another day,” and begin design the way you interact from your real values, let’s get you booked in. We’ll do a session and get clear on who you are beneath the expectations.
Or, if you have any questions, send me a message. I’d be happy to assist!
